About Rumney Test & Service Centre in Cardiff

With a long, rich history going back to the 1960s, Rumney Test & Service Centre has been looking after over three generations of motorists in and around Cardiff with the highest quality of workmanship and service.

The principles of providing honest and reliable services, first established by Tony Young as New Road Service Station back in the day, still apply today, and our owner, Nigel Vickery, has been proud to maintain this reputation since he took over the reins from Tony at the turn of the century.

As a leading modern independent garage, we are able to take care of most makes of cars, vans, and motorhomes from our fully-equipped workshop facility on Wentloog Road, just north east of the city centre. Our expert services are comprehensive and include a complete range of mechanical repairs and replacements, such as brakes, suspension, and timing belts, to more advanced and technical services like diagnostics, wheel alignment, and AdBlue services. We are able to undertake scheduled servicing for vehicles of all ages, carry out MOTs, and supply and fit tyres on the premises.

Our team of technicians is highly qualified and professional, making your trip to Rumney Test & Service Centre a hassle-free experience, where you can be sure of receiving the best advice and excellent results at surprisingly competitive prices. These benefits are combined with our exceptional customer service, and it’s easy to see why we are such a highly-regarded and leading garage in the Cardiff area. We are easy to reach too, just a short drive from the A4232 spur road off the A48, and with bus services also within walking distance, Cardiff and Newport are easily accessible.
